CLASS. The class is also no obligation so if you just want to explore
Morning Star and what it’s about, that’s cool too. If

Men's
Bible Study--
All men are encouraged to join us on Tuesday morning from 7:00a.m.
-7:45 a.m. at the church for an awesome time of Bible study,
fellowship, and prayer. Each week we discover truth as we delve
into scripture, verse by verse. The Bible is an instruction
book for life but it also gives us a picture of the God we
serve and of His wonderful plan for us from now throughout
eternity.

Ministry
As I write
this, the weather outside gives a hint of the change of seasons
I used
to experience in the frozen tundra
of the North - in fact a colleague from work sent pictures from
outside his home of 12" of snow! I used to liken the beauty
of Fall as a gift from the Lord to prepare us for the bleakness
of Winter. But there's something we miss down here in Florida.
Ecclesiastes
speaks of a time and a season for everything and the various
seasons work to drive that point home. In GOY, it's
the season for drawing closer to one
another ...as we continue to prepare to better reach out to those
who have yet to hear the Good news. Our curriculum is "Connecting
Together In Christ" and focuses on improving fellowship...with
an eye toward increasing outreach.
Continue to pray for the youth of Morningstar: that they will
resolve in their hearts to choose GOD'S BEST in this season of
their lives. That they might establish that as the pattern for
the rest of their lives.
Visioning
Team:
Please be praying for our Visioning Team. The purpose of the
team will be two fold: To promote spiritual renewal (glorify
God) and strategic initiative (reach people). Along with the
Session they will help clarify the vision for Morning Star
at this stage of its life.
